All that is required is to line your favourite Pie Dish with your pastry, placing your Wade Ceramics' Pie Funnel in the centre. Then just place your chosen filling around the pie funnel and carefully place the pastry over the top, pushing down gently so that you can see your Duck Pie Funnel fully at the top. By doing this it allows all unwanted steam to pass through your delicious pie which allows your pastry to go a glorious golden-brown and your filling to bake. Pie funnels are also referred to as 'crust holders', 'pie vents' or 'pie flutes'- this is due to their ability to ensure your filling does not stew and that your pastry does not sag in the centre of your pie.
